Event Logs
Event logs provide a read-only audit trail of important workspace activity.
Open event logs
You need the Manage permissions permission.
- Open Workspace Settings.
- Select Event Logs.
- Review the newest entries first.
- Open an entry for its details.
Each entry identifies the action, time, and available context.
Retention
Retention depends on paid seats:
- Free workspaces: 1 day
- Starter: 2 additional days per Starter seat, up to 7 days
- Pro: 30 additional days per Pro seat, up to 90 days
Users cannot edit or manually delete event-log entries. Entries expire automatically when they leave the workspace's retention window.
What is logged
Event logs cover important activity such as:
- Creating, updating, or deleting tasks, projects, labels, topics, and documents
- Granting or revoking permissions
- Workspace membership and invitations
- Subscription changes
- Workspace and notification setting changes
- AI feature setting changes and failures
- Integration webhook activity and delivery failures
- Creating, updating, or deleting virtual coworkers
The exact details depend on the action and the Bnder features enabled in the workspace.
For external log delivery, see Webhook Logging.
