Event Logs

Event logs provide a read-only audit trail of important workspace activity.

Open event logs

You need the Manage permissions permission.

  1. Open Workspace Settings.
  2. Select Event Logs.
  3. Review the newest entries first.
  4. Open an entry for its details.

Each entry identifies the action, time, and available context.

Retention

Retention depends on paid seats:

  • Free workspaces: 1 day
  • Starter: 2 additional days per Starter seat, up to 7 days
  • Pro: 30 additional days per Pro seat, up to 90 days

Users cannot edit or manually delete event-log entries. Entries expire automatically when they leave the workspace's retention window.

What is logged

Event logs cover important activity such as:

  • Creating, updating, or deleting tasks, projects, labels, topics, and documents
  • Granting or revoking permissions
  • Workspace membership and invitations
  • Subscription changes
  • Workspace and notification setting changes
  • AI feature setting changes and failures
  • Integration webhook activity and delivery failures
  • Creating, updating, or deleting virtual coworkers

The exact details depend on the action and the Bnder features enabled in the workspace.

For external log delivery, see Webhook Logging.
