Virtual Coworkers

Virtual coworkers are AI-powered teammates that can reply when you mention them in comments and, on Pro, also automate review-style workflows. You can configure their department, tone, expertise, project scope, and permissions to match how you want feedback to sound and what data they can access.

They can help with:

  • Reviewing new tasks for risks, missing details, or next steps.
  • Responding to direct mentions in task comments.
  • Providing department-specific feedback (legal, product, QA, security, and more).
  • Supporting ticket teams when you choose the new Customer Support department and scope the coworker to support projects.

How they work

Virtual coworkers can act in two situations:

  1. Mentions: If you mention a virtual coworker in a task comment, they reply in the same thread. This is available on Starter and Pro.
  2. Automatic reviews and follow-up automation: These behaviors are available on Pro.

Quick setup

  1. Open the app and go to your workspace settings.
  2. Select Virtual Coworkers.
  3. Create a coworker and choose a department, comment style, and permissions.
  4. Save and mention them in a comment. On Pro, you can also use the automation behavior.

If you want a coworker to support tickets, choose Customer Support, scope the coworker to the ticket project, and grant the write permissions needed for ticket replies and ticket updates.
