Booking Link Availability

Bnder calculates booking availability based on your working hours, working days, timezone, and existing calendar events.

Timezone

Booking links use the workspace or member timezone configured in Bnder. Slots are shown in that timezone by default, and visitors can still view the booking page from any timezone.

Working hours and working days

By default, availability is limited to your configured working days and working hours. A booking link can instead use its own weekly hours, including multiple windows on the same day.

  • If no working hours are set, availability is treated as 24/7.
  • If working days are not configured, all days are available.

To change these settings, go to Settings > Calendar in the app.

Date overrides and vacation

Date overrides take priority over weekly hours. Use them to close a vacation day or holiday, or to offer different hours on one date. Dates are interpreted in the calendar owner's configured timezone.

Meeting buffers

Before- and after-meeting buffers protect time around a booking. A slot is removed when its meeting or buffer would overlap another calendar event or an active booking. Buffers are also checked when a visitor submits or reschedules a booking, including simultaneous requests.

Calendar conflicts

A slot is removed when it overlaps with an existing event on your calendar. This includes events that start before your working hours but overlap into them.

Availability can change while a visitor has the booking page open. Bnder checks the slot again when the request is submitted. If another visitor booked overlapping time first, the later request is rejected and no duplicate calendar event is created; refresh the page to choose another available slot.

Booking limits

If you set limits (per day or per week), availability is reduced once those limits are reached.

Troubleshooting availability

If you see unexpected slots:

  • Check the workspace timezone and working hours.
  • Verify that the event exists in your calendar and overlaps the slot.
  • Confirm that the booking link limits and notice settings are correct.
  • Review custom weekly hours, date overrides, and both buffer values on the booking link.
