AI Features
Bnder AI features help with repetitive project work: organizing tasks, spotting risks, suggesting next steps, and letting virtual coworkers participate in task or ticket workflows.
AI features are optional. Workspace admins can decide which automations are enabled, and paid-seat requirements depend on the feature.
AI chat
AI chat is available from the app as a workspace-aware assistant. It can use the current workspace and project context to answer questions or help with work that is already open in Bnder.
The chat streams responses while it works. If an action needs approval before a tool runs, the app asks for approval instead of running it silently.
AI chat can be rate limited. When the limit is reached, wait before sending another message or check the workspace plan and seat assignment.
Task suggestions
When you create or edit a task in the app, Bnder can show helpful suggestions in the task popup.
Suggestions can include:
- labels that match the task title or description
- todo items that break the task into smaller steps
- possible duplicate tasks from the same project
- deadline, blocker, stale-task, missing-owner, or quality warnings
- assignee availability conflicts
On wide screens, the Smart panel can appear beside the task form. On smaller screens, the same suggestions stay inside the popup so the form remains usable.
Some Smart suggestions require a paid seat. If your current seat does not include a suggestion, the app may show a blurred preview with an upgrade prompt instead of silently hiding the feature.
Auto labeling and auto priority
Auto labeling can apply a project label shortly after a task or document is created. It works best when labels have clear names, descriptions, and colors.
Auto priority can set a task priority from the task title and description.
Admins can enable or disable these automations from workspace settings. See Labels for label setup.
Duplicate warnings
Duplicate warnings appear while creating a task when Bnder finds similar existing tasks in the same project.
The warning does not block task creation. It helps you open the existing task in another app tab before deciding whether to continue with the new one.
Virtual coworkers
Virtual coworkers are AI teammates configured in workspace settings. They can reply when mentioned, review tasks, and support tickets when they are assigned as the ticket owner.
Use these guides for setup and behavior:

Ticket and knowledge workflows
Agents can create a knowledge draft from a closed ticket. Bnder creates a structured draft and links it back to the source ticket after the first save.
Virtual coworkers with customer-support setup can also be assigned to tickets. Their assessment notes stay internal and are not shown on the public ticket thread.
Seat requirements
Starter seats include everyday AI assistance such as label and todo suggestions, auto labeling, and basic virtual coworker mention replies.
Pro seats add operational AI features such as duplicate warnings, auto priority, and virtual coworker automation.
See Plans and Seats for the current tier overview.
