The language configuration affects the output language of the bots.

Workspace languages

The app also provides translated CRM integration setup, import progress, recovery instructions, connected customer information, and duplicate-review guidance. Service names such as Stripe and Square, technical identifiers, and customer data received from a connected service keep their original wording.

Workspace administrators can set the default language for a workspace. Bots respond in the workspace language when it is available, unless user language preferences are enabled and the user has selected their own language.

Change workspace language via the app

  1. Open the app.
  2. Navigate to the settings from the sidebar.
  3. Select the language you want to use from the dropdown menu.

User preferences

Users can set their preferred language for the bot to respond in. The bot will respond in the user's preferred language if it is available.

If set to false, users' preferences will be ignored and the workspace language will be used.
